Privacy, corrections and removals

AgentVisible is operated by pixelshed. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

AgentVisible assesses publicly accessible website metadata. Public profiles retain the submitted hostname, scan time, scanner and schema versions, scores, check outcomes, recommendations and short sanitised evidence needed to explain the result. We do not intentionally retain page bodies, cookies, authorisation or request headers, DNS answers, source IP addresses, credentials or query-string tokens in profile history.

We also record aggregate usage events (scans requested, profile, category and post views, and Index searches) with a coarse client classification (browser, AI agent, automation or unknown) derived from the user agent, plus the referring site's hostname. These events contain no IP addresses, cookies, user identifiers, raw user-agent strings or full URLs, and are deleted after 90 days.

Purpose and lawful basis

We use this information to provide transparent, point-in-time assessments of website accessibility to AI agents and to maintain a useful public benchmark. The intended lawful basis is legitimate interests in analysing and documenting public technical metadata, balanced through data minimisation, editorial review, noindex defaults and correction/removal controls.

Retention and processors

Successful public evidence snapshots are retained for up to 12 months. Operational diagnostics and rate-limit data are separate and shorter-lived. Railway provides application and PostgreSQL hosting and may process this data as a service provider. Backup deletion follows the configured hosting backup lifecycle.

Important limitations

Profiles are automated assessments of public evidence at the time shown. They are not owner-verified, do not prove ownership or endorsement, and may be incomplete or stale. Payment or managed-service status cannot alter a score or Index position.

Corrections, rescans and removal

Email [email protected] with the domain and the correction, rescan or removal requested. Excluded profiles are removed from public profile routes, the Index and the sitemap. You may also raise concerns about personal data or exercise applicable UK data-protection rights through that address, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
